Commonly referred to as the "New Model" or 2nd issue 1 1/2. Manufactured between 1868 to 1875. Round blade front sight with notched rear sight. Barrel address stamped in one line on the barrel rib with three patent dates. Tip up frame with spur trigger and 5-shot fluted cylinder. Blue barrel, frame and cylinder. The barrel and grip strap are stamped "V V 9" with and "R". Casehardened hammer and ejector rod. Finished with smooth two piece varnished rosewood grips.

Excellent as factory refinished. 95% blue finish remains over all showing minor high point thinning on the barrel. The cylinder retains 70% blue finish with mottled brown spotting. The frame shows a few small handling marks. The hammer and ejector rod display strong vibrant case colors. The grips are very fine. The action is excellent.
