Manufactured circa 1865 to 1868. Standard two line address/patent dates on top of the barrel rib and serial number marked on the butt. The back of the barrel lug is marked "U 0". All nickel finish and fitted with smooth rosewood grips with the matching serial number stamped on the inside of the right panel.

Period factory quality re-nickel with 95% nickel finish remaining. There is some mild flaking on the muzzle, some minor flaking on the left side of the top strap and an area of flaking on the cylinder. The grips are very good with 98% varnish remaining, some lower edge wear and a few scattered minor dings and dents. The markings remain crisp and clear. There is some slight play in the barrel hinge and cylinder, otherwise the action is crisp.
