All three boxes are brown cardboard with green top labels. 1) Union Metallic Cartridge box for ten 40 caliber Sharps rounds (2 5/8" shell, 90 grains powder, 1 1/4" patched 370 grain bullet), with the cartridge data repeated on the end label and an orange guarantee label on the underside. 2) Winchester box for twenty 40-70 Sharps cartridges, with a label on the front reading "In RELOADING these CARTRIDGES/ The only PRIMER that can be used/ IS THE/ Winchester Primer No. 2 1/2". 3) Winchester box for twenty 40 caliber Sharps rounds (1 7/8" shell, 45 grains powder, 265 grain bullet), with reloading label as #2 and "These cartridges are loaded by the WIN-/ CHESTER REPEATING ARMS COMPANY./ The benefit of our great experience and care-/ ful supervision is given; beyond that we/ assume no responsibility/ Winchester Repeating Arms Co." on the reverse.
