Manufactured in 1864. The top of the barrel has the standard one line New York U.S. AMERICA address (very faint), "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side of the frame, and "36 CAL" and "N" on the left side of the trigger guard. The cylinder is roll engraved with the Texas Navy scene and stamped with the partial serial number "613". The wedge also has the correct partial serial number "613" and the arbor pin is marked "0613". The matching serial number is marked on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap. Fitted with a smooth walnut grip.

Rating Definition:

Good as partially refinished. With the exception of the barrel, the metal surfaces have a smooth brown and gray patina. The barrel has been artificially browned midway to the muzzle and has some minor pitting. The trigger guard and back strap retain 20% original silver plating, mainly concentrated in the protected areas. The grip is fine with 50% original varnish remaining with some wear on the lower edges, a few minor dings and dents, and a hand rubbed patina on the balance. Unless mentioned above, the markings are clear and the cylinder scene is 90% visible. The action is very good.
