Manufactured in Canada, this is one of only two model 490 prototypes made with both being offered in this auction. Hooded ramp front and single folding leaf rear sights. Receiver grooved for scope mounting, and marked "MODEL 490/ JX 2" on left side. Checkered one piece pistol grip stock with plastic grip cap and buttplate. Includes original box and prototype hanging tag. Originally part of the Peter and Patty Murray Collection.
