Manufactured in the .22 extra long chamber beginning in 1914. Standard markings including factory proof on the barrel and bolt, dovetail bead front sight, adjustable notch rear sight, and a smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Excellent, with 98% plus original blue finish. Slight handling marks overall, with light muzzle wear and some small areas of spotting. The stock is excellent, with some light handling marks and a couple minor gouges. Trigger guard retains 75% blue with some flaking on the rear. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. Writer cannot recall offering a finer example than this one at auction!
