Twin ivory bead sights, with modified and cylinder chokes, 2 3/4" chambers and ejectors, with the top barrel marked "BOHLER (star) STAHL / Weichlot" on either side and the bottom barrel marked "GEBRUDER MERKEL / SUHL" and "SUHLER WAFFENWERK". Floral engraved casehardened action, with double triggers (forward adjustable), cocking indicators, top break lever, tang mounted manual safety, and a scalloped border where the action meets the wood. Mounted with a nicely figured, checkered pistol grip stock with checkered flats, metal grip cap, raised comb and cheekpiece, a checkered plastic buttplate, and three-piece forearm with lever release. The gun also includes a set of 8x57JR rifle barrels with ramp front and 2-leaf rear sights, and a set of claw bases on the quarter rib. LOP 12 1/2". Complete with a hard tan canvas case with brass lock and latch assembly, leather corners, handles and straps. The case has a dark green felt interior with a sewn in leather Merkel sign. The case contains two 16 gauge snap caps, engraved scope rings and the case key.

Very good as professionally refinished, showing 95% of the current blue. The 16 gauge barrel set has the bottom portion of the front bead chipped out, with some fading on the muzzles and covered minor pitting on the right side of the lower barrel. The rifle barrel set has some minor scattered dings and fading overall. The action has aged to a smooth gray with some case colors showing in the protected areas. The custom wood has been freshened and shows some few scattered light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. The case is also excellent with some fading and scratches and some light wear in the leather.
