Raised bead front and 2-leaf rear sights, with "RUDOLF HAEMMERLI & CIE. LENZBURG" on the top barrel, a claw base set installed on the quarter rib, Krupp Steel and Nitro markings (latest 2001) on the barrels. The box lock action features fine scroll and bouquet engraving, break lever and upper tang are engraved with floral scroll and geometric patterns and the sides of the fasteners are marked "Herkules". The upper barrel is chambered for the 8. 9x53 mm cartridge and the lower barrel is 16 gauge with 2 3/4" chamber and extractors. Quadruple grip action with duo top fastening device, double triggers, manual tang safety, horn trigger guard and mounted with nicely figured checkered walnut three-piece forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivel, cartridge compartment with a finely engraved floral scroll trap lid and hardware and a serrated horn buttplate. LOP 14". Equipped with Zeiss Zielvier scope mounted on the quarter rib with quick release claw mounts.

Excellent, with 95% of the blue finish, with the lower barrel thinning to a plum patina with very light spotting, minor thinning on the receiver and some high edge wear and handling marks. The wood is very fine with scattered minor pressure dents, dings and scratches. The scope is very good with a touched-up ding on the right side, a few minor scratches and high edge wear. The optics are crystal clear. Mechanically excellent.
