Manufactured in 1991, this shotgun was the prize at the Iowa Ducks Unlimited State Convention in Davenport, Iowa on March 15, 1991. The shotgun has two sets of barrels, 28" and 30". Both are blue, have a single bead sight on a solid matte rib and marked in gold "1" and "2" at the breech end. Each has 3" chambers with ejectors. Set 1 (28") is choked modified/improved cylinder and set 2 (30") is choked full/modified. Each is numbered to the gun and share the Exhibition Grade, finely checkered beaver tail forearm. The forearm is decorated with the gold Piotti shield in the center and finely English scroll engraved coin hardware. The remaining metal surfaces have a coin finish and feature fine English scroll and floral engraving. In addition the lock plates are engraved with finely detailed game scenes of a marsh scene with three gold inlaid ducks on the left side and a field scene with two gold inlaid cock pheasants fighting with a hen watching from the tall grass on the right. Each lock is signed "BALNEARI" and the lower left side of the frame is gold inlaid "FLLI PIOTTI". The bottom of the frame has a bird dog with a game bird it's mouth and also signed "BALNEARI" at the bottom. The break lever also has a gold inlaid crown. Tang mounted manual safety and single trigger. The stock is Exhibition Grade walnut with finely checkered wrist and bare butt with the gold initial oval inscribed "DONATED / TO DUCKS / UNLIMITED / BY NAN AND / FRANK / PACHMAYR". LOP 14 1/2". Complete in a leather wrapped hard case with leather corner protectors, leather straps and handle, green padded wool lining and Flli Piotti label affixed to the inside of the lid.

Near new in the case with only the slightest handling/storage marks. The case is excellent.
