The tapered octagonal barrel has an integral sling swivel mount, manufactured without sights and is script engraved the caliber marking on the upper left flat and one line address on the upper right flat. The octagon receiver and the serial number on the right side with patent marking and maker name on the left side. Scope rings are attached to the receiver. The bolt and follower are jeweled and the bolt handle is blued. Scroll engraved floor plate and trigger guard with an engraved grizzly bear scene on the floor plate. Nicely figured pistol grip stock with fancy checkered forearm and grip area, light engraving on the grip cap, raised cheekpiece, buttstock sling eye, and solid Pachmayr Old English recoil pad.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% original blue finish with a few minor scratches on the barrel and some minor edge wear on the floor plate. The stock is also excellent with some minor handling marks with a series of minor scratches on the left side above the trigger. The recoil pad has some loss of material near the toe. There is a minor gouge on the forearm, otherwise the checkering is sharp. The safety needs minor work.
