The included Colt factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, and finish with the type of stocks "Not Listed." The pistol was shipped to W.S. Brown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 1937. The pistol has adjustable sights, with the two line address/patent dates on top of the barrel and "CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" on the left, with "CAMP PERRY MODEL" on the middle rib of the breech block. The side polished hammer, royal blue trigger and back strap are checkered, with silver Rampant Colt medallions on the checkered walnut grips. Complete with original factory box, test target, and "Shooting Suggestions" pamphlet. Colt made slightly over 2,500 of these pistols from 1920 to 1941.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original blue finish with an area of minor pitting on the right side of the frame at the breech and some minor oxidation on the front strap with a small area of wear on the back strap. The grips are also excellent with a couple mild handling marks. The checkering is very crisp. The box is very good with minor wear.
