Standard one line barrel address, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .44 SPECIAL" on the left side, the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates and the matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, left side of the grip straps under the grips, and on the inside of each grip panel. Blue finish with casehardened frame, blade front and frame notch rear sights, unfluted cylinder and fitted with checkered Rampant Colt and American Eagle relief grips. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun, papers and extra fluted 44-40 cylinder. The end label options box is marked "44-40".
