Manufactured in 1957, with blade front and notch rear sight. Standard one-line block letter address on top of the barrel, "COLT BUNTLINE SPECIAL .45" on the left side, standard left frame two line three patent dates followed by the "Rampant Colt", and underside of barrel marked "BB480". One piece ivory grips with silver Colt medallions. Factory letter confirms serial number, barrel number, caliber, and barrel length, finish, and stocks listed as wood. Gun was shipped as 1 to Montgomery Loan Company in Norristown, PA on December 12, 1957. Complete with a glass top wooden display case.

Excellent, with 99% plus original blue finish. There are some light handling marks/scratches (mainly on the cylinder), with faint traces of a cylinder drag line. Grips are very good, with some minor age cracks. Markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
