A) Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 32 Centerfire Single Action Revolver with Box

Description:

Manufactured from 1878 to 1892, this later Model 1 1/2 is marked with the two line address/patent reissue dates on top of the rib and the V shaped patent marking on the top strap. Pinned blade front and notch rear sights, five round fluted cylinder, all nickel finish with checkered casehardened hammer and trigger and fitted with two piece checkered hard rubber grips with "S&W" logo molded at the tops. Complete with pebble grain factory box numbered to a different gun and cleaning rod.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original nickel finish with some scattered minor flaking and some speckling of brown. The hammer and trigger retain 95% original case colors. The grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches with a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. The box is very fine with some scattered minor wear.

Description:

Manufactured from 1868 to 1881, Blade front and notch rear sights, finished nickel with casehardened hammer and trigger, and fitted with two piece rosewood grips. Right grip panel is numbered to gun. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address/patent dates (1855, 1859, 1860). Complete with a factory box numbered to a different gun.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original nickel finish with some minor blistering overall and some minor flaking on the cylinder. The hammer retains 90% original case colors. The grips are fine with almost all of the varnish remaining, some minor handling marks, and some wear on the high edges, along with a minor pressure dent on the right panel. The action is excellent. The box is fine with some minor wear.
