Dated 1937 on the chamber, with the "S/42" code on the toggle. "Droop wing eagle/63" proofs on the extension and barrel, with eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Bottom of the barrel marked "8,81", and "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the upper safety area and extractor, respectively. Matching visible numbers, including "15" on most small components, fixed sights, stock lug, blue unmarked magazine with aluminum base numbered to another gun, and fitted with checkered walnut grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original blue finish with some muzzle and high point wear, and some light spotting on the back strap. The grips are also excellent, a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
