Description:

Fixed blade and notch rear sights, with "DREYSE" over the two line Rheinmetall marking on left side of receiver. Crown/B proofs are present with "A. HOUSSAYE, AROR / LE HAVRE" marked on bolt. Has a 6-round magazine. Schnabel forearm with checkering on the bottom and checkered round knob pistol grip stock with sling swivels and shotgun style serrated buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The carbine retains 80% blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some minor spotting. The wood is very good with some minor dings, scratches, and pressure dents and a few minor gouges. The forearm has a couple hairline cracks on the underside and the buttstock has a repaired chip on top of the comb near the buttplate and a couple long hairline cracks near the frame. There are some minor nicks in the checkering.
