Description:

Fixed sights, with "HUET / ARQUEBUSIER / A LILLE" ahead of the rear sight and a Liege ELG proof on left side at the breech. Floral engraved action and artfully shaped trigger guard. Checkered straight grip stock with vine and leaf carving on the stock flats and smooth flat buttplate. With leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with some very scattered minor spotting. The buttplate has a mixed gray patina with some minor pitting. The remaining surfaces have a smooth gray patina with traces of faint original case colors remaining. The wood is fine with numerous minor scratches , dings, and pressure marks, with some very scattered minor bruises in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
