The chamber is marked "147 / 1939", with a droop wing eagle proof and serial number on the left side and an eagle swastika/359 proof and two eagle swastika/37 proofs on the right side. The floor plate and trigger guard have eagle/37 proofs, both are numbered to the gun. Matching numbers also on the barrel, receiver, bolt assembly, follower, trigger guard screws, barrel bands, stock, and buttplate. Smooth laminated stock with upper handguard, sling, and flat buttplate. Right side of buttstock has a Heer stamp and two eagle swastika/WaA37 proofs, with an eagle/swastika proof and eagle swastika /WaA37 proof in the grip area.

Very fine. The rifle retains 75% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is a wood filled repair on the forearm underside behind the rear barrel band, otherwise the wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
