Dated 1940 on top of the chamber and marked "42" on the toggle. Two "eagle/ 655" proofs and the "eagle/ swastika" firing proof appear on the right side of the barrel extension with an "eagle/ 655" on the left side of the barrel and "eagle/ swastika" on the right side of barrel and the left side of the breechblock. Matching numbers on the barrel, extension, frame, latch, side plate, sear, safety, toggle links, extractor, trigger, toggle pin, hold open, breechblock and firing pin. Blue finished small parts, checkered grips, and blue magazine with matching numbered aluminum base. Checkered walnut grips.

Excellent, with 98% plus original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. Extractor number has been restamped. Grips are excellent, with exception of some chipping around the magazine catch on the left side and mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
