Description:

The chamber is dated 1913, with the DWM monogram on the front toggle. Three "crown/ letter" proofs are present on the left side of the extension, with Imperial eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Matching numbers on the small parts and inside the checkered grips. Hold open has been added and is correctly proofed on right side of frame. Nickel magazine, with non-matching number on the wood base.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks, edge wear, and a few areas of brown patina. 70% of the original straw colors remain. A small amount of spotting is visible on the right frame rail. Grips are very fine, with some smoothing of the checkering on the lower portion and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
