German silver blade front and three leaf rear sights with the two line address/patent date marking and "30 W.C.F." marked on the top barrel flat and the two line nickel steel/smokeless powder marking on the upper left flat. The upper tang is marked with the three line model, maker and patent date marking, with the serial number on the underside of the frame and the "1893" patent date on the takedown latch. Factory oval verified proof present on top of the barrel and receiver. This signifies that the rifle went back to Winchester for some sort of repair work. Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel and magazine retain 95% original blue finish thinning to a gray patina. The receiver and takedown collar retain 80% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is some minor spotting. The buttplate, hammer and lever retain 60% original case colors with some minor pitting on the buttplate. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches with some minor bruising in the overall crisp checkering.
