Description:

Full octagon barrel with a dovetail cut for a front sight that's missing. Short integral rib for a barrel sight. Sling swivel on the bottom flat, with proofmarks and dated 6/25. Floral engraved action with a cherub on the left side holding a target. Gentleman shooter holding a rifle on the right. Large takedown lever on the right side. Double set triggers, replacement tang sigh. Tyrolean style cheekpiece. Stock with a iron buttplate and thumb rest. Schnabel style forearm with a wedge key.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 80% original blue on the barrel. 75% case color on the action with sharp engraving. The stock has been refinished with remnants of original carvings that have been sanded off. Epoxy fills and repairs on both sides of the action. Several epoxy fills on the cheekpiece right and left sides and at the buttplate. Missing upper tang screw and stock is loose. Barrel is not properly fitted to the action and misaligned. Action screws not fully tightened. Needs minor work.
