Description:

Second Issue manufactured from 1876 to 1896. Globe front and adjustable rear sights on barrel with the two line Stevens & Co. address/patent date marking on the upper left flat. Firing pin mounted on the frame with a bushing and with a semi-circular side plate. Barrel, stock mounting attachment, and both grips are numbered to the gun. Complete with shoulder stock numbered to gun. In wooden case lined with red felt with the following: screwdriver, two boxes of UMC .32 short cartridges, and oiler.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel retains nearly 50% original blue finish (mostly towards the muzzle) with the balance a smooth brown patina. The frame retains 97% original nickel finish with some very scattered minor flaking with a few minor dings. The grips are fine with numerous minor scratches and retaining 80% of the varnish. The stock retains 95% original nickel finish with some minor flaking. The case is very good with some minor handling marks and a minor crack on top of the lid. The lining has some minor wear and staining.
