Description:

Manufactured from 1897 to 1916. Lyman globe front and removed rear sight (Stevens filler block added) on a barrel with the two line Stevens A. & T. address/patent date marking. Also equipped with a Vernier tang peep sight. Nicely figured pistol grip stock, with multi-point checkering on the forearm and grip area and Swiss buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Refinished. The barrel retains 90% of the blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The action has been cleaned bright with some minor pitting. The lever and buttplate have a mixed brown and gray patina. The wood has some very scattered minor handling marks with a small hairline crack on the forearm (left side near action) and some minor bruises in the overall crisp checkering.
