Manufactured in 1912 this is the Expert Grade of the Remington Model 12 rifle. Equipped with blade front and adjustable notch rear sights. The receiver features a scroll engraving with a zigzag line border. The sides of the receiver also feature small game scene engraving panels: two rabbits on the left and a squirrel on the right. Nicely figured checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with plain hard rubber grip cap and crescent steel buttplate.

Excellent as professionally restored. The rifle retains 99% of the blue finish with some mild slide wear. The wood has a few minor handling marks and a long hairline crack near the lower tang. Overall the checkering is crisp.
