Manufactured in 1948. Ramp blade front sight with bead and adjustable sporting rear sight with the top rear of the receiver drilled and tapped for sight mounting. Standard markings with checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with shotgun style checkered steel Remington buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with extensive slide wear, some thinning on the receiver, and some scattered light spotting. The wood is very fine with most of the varnish remaining and some minor dings and scratches. There are a few minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
