Manufactured in 1907. Pinned beaded blade front and folding ladder rear sights with half magazine and saddle ring mounted on the left side of the receiver. Top of barrel has the two line address/patent date marking and "38 W.C.F." and the left side is marked "NICKEL STEEL", with a factory proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang is marked with the three line model/trade mark information and the underside of the frame has the serial number. Mounted with a rarely seen nicely figured smooth walnut pistol grip stock with hard rubber factory grip cap and hard rubber factory shotgun buttplate.

Very good. The barrel retains 40% original blue finish and the receiver retains 15% original blue finish, with the overall balance a smooth gray patina. The hammer and lever retain traces of original case colors. There is some minor to deep pitting (mostly on the receiver). The wood is also good with some very scattered minor handling marks. Buttplate has a minor crack near the top. Mechanically fine.
