Steel construction, measuring 8 3/4" long, with one of the legs, "144", "CAL.45", "400" and "SHARPS RIFLE CO./ BRIDGEPORT, CONN." the other marked "144" and "Old Reliable" and 927 in electric pencil, a single cavity for a grooved, flat base bullet 1 1/10" long, and a sprue cutter.

Very good, with a mixed brown patina overall, showing some pitting and numerous dings.
