The cannon style barrel gauges at approximately .62 caliber and has three crown/letter proofs stamped on the left side at the breech. The area under the flash pan is marked "SAM LOVE". The lock plate has a thumb safety and the upper tang is engraved. One piece grip with carved shell pattern near the upper tang, engraved thumb shield, decorative scroll silver plate on the left stock flat, and silver buttcap with a grotesque face. Complete with an iron ramrod.

Very good. Overall the pistol has a smooth dark patina with a mottled brown patina on the trigger guard. There is some pin point pitting on the trigger guard. The grip is very fine with a few hairline cracks and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
