Blade front and notch rear sights, with "NEWARK" on the top flat of the barrel, two "crown/ scepter" proofs on the upper left flat, and floral engraving on the tang. Zig-zag and stand of flag engraving on the hammer, with the lock marked "BARBER/ &/ BOALER" and fitted with a high fenced flashpan and safety bar. Full length stock, with a bone tipped ebony ramrod, pineapple trigger guard finial, silver inscription panel behind the tang, checkered wrist and round butt.

Good with a well-defined twist pattern on the barrel, a light gray patina on the lock and a darker patina on the trigger guard and ramrod pipes. Some mild handling marks overall. Stock is also good with a crack present in the left side of the forearm, pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically very good.
