The lock plate is marked "PATTISON", with border engraving on the lock, frizzen and fancy hammer, a roller equipped frizzen spring, pineapple engraved trigger guard finial and a scene of a bird seated in a field on the guard. Smooth one piece stock, with an ebony ramrod, silver inscription oval opposite the lock, inscription shield behind the tang and a lightly engraved steel buttcap.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel shows a mixed gray patina with hints of brown, light handling marks and excellent detail on the stamp. The lock and lock hardware are a darker gray. Stock is also fine, with a crack in the right side of the forearm and extending from the tang, mild scratches and dents, and a few tiny chips. Mechanically excellent.
