The lock plate is marked "PATRICK". The part octagon Damascus barrel has an opening that measures approximately 1 1/8" and has three English proofs stamped on the upper left flat at the breech and the top flat is marked "LIVERPOOL". The top of the barrel is equipped with a snap bayonet, which measures 11 1/4" long. The bayonet release mechanism is positioned on the upper tang. Hammer safety and plain trigger. The full length varnished stock has a skip line checkered pattern on the wrist and two barrel wedges. The ramrod pipes, trigger guard, and flat buttplate are brass, with the trigger guard features an engraved floral blossom and pineapple type finial and the buttplate tang has a floral engraving.

Fine. The barrel retains half of the brown Damascus with some pin point pitting near the breech. The action has a smooth gray patina. The brass has a polished appearance with a hairline crack on the front ramrod pipe. The bayonet has a smooth gray patina with some pin point pitting. The stock is very good with almost all of the varnish remaining and numerous minor dings, scratches and pressure dents, with a chunk of wood missing from the forearm near the muzzle (left side). Overall the checkering is crisp.
