The lock plate is marked "BRANDER / & POTTS / LONDON". The brass barrel has a flared muzzle with the opening measuring approximately 1 1/8" and has "crown/V" and "crown/GP" proofs stamped on the left side at the breech. Hammer safety and plain trigger, with brass ramrod pipes, trigger guard, flat buttplate, and side plate. The action and upper tang are iron. Straight grip stock with a craved checkered "X" pattern on the wrist area.

Very good plus. The brass has been polished and the action and upper tang have a smooth dark patina. The stock is fine with numerous minor handling marks (a few long scratches) and a minor crack near the side plate. There is some wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
