The barrel has a flared muzzle with the opening measuring approximately 1 1/2" with "H*B" stamped on the left side at the breech (presumably for Harrison & Bagshaw). Unmarked lock plate with a light engraving on the barrel at the breech and on the upper tang. Full length straight grip stock with a checkered wrist. The trigger guard, flat buttplate, flag motif side plate, and ramrod pipes are brass with a light engraving on the trigger guard and buttplate tang. Complete with a brass tipped wooden ramrod.

Good. The upper tang and barrel have a mottled gray patina with extensive minor pitting. The action has a smooth dark patina. The stock is very good with some minor handing marks and worn checkering, with a long hairline crack on the buttstock and a minor crack near the side plate. The forearm has a large chip missing with wood putty added to the area on right side and a small putty filled repair on the left side. A three line embossed label appears on the right side of the forearm ("HARRISON & BAGSHAW / 1750-70 / FOR HUDSON BAY CO.").
