Box for 50, .44 caliber Colt solid head center fire cartridges for Lightning rifle and Frontier revolver produced by Union Metallic Cartridge Co.. The two piece box has a light purple label with cartridge and maker information (see image).

Very Fine. The solid box shows some minor edge wear and light discoloration/staining. The seal has been cut and small pieces have torn off. The labels retain clear printing and overall vivid color, with light fading the side label.
