This brown leather holster rig was made by F.A. Meanea of Cheyenne, Wyoming, one of the original Wyoming Territory saddle makers and one of the most desirable makers to collect. The plugged bottom, open top Colt Single Action Army holster is outlined with a two line border with a floral blossom in the center and has a tear drop toe plug. The skirt has two tooled integral holster loops with the bottom loop marked "F.A. MEANEA / CHEYENNE, WYO". The belt features 38 cartridge loops and a nickel plated iron buckle. The tongue is stamped "F.A. MEANEA / CHEYENNE, WYO.".

Fine, showing some minor wear and handling marks. The belt has even flex wear with a small area of flaking. The belt tongue has been shortened and moved for a different size waist. The holster has the initials "F.P." period carved on the front and "IIW" on the back of the skirt. One will look for a long time for another one of these Meanea rigs!
