According to the included factory letter, this revolver was part of a group shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois on June 5, 1894, with the grips "Not Listed" and other features matching. Fixed sights, with the two line address on top of the barrel, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" roll stamped on the left, and the 2 line/ 3 date patent marking on the frame next to the circled Rampant Colt. Matching numbers on the frame and grip straps. Two piece checkered brown hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logos.

Very good as professionally refurbished, with 98% of the current blue finish, showing a few areas of sub-surface pitting and scuffs, hints of a brown patina on the front sight and scattered handling marks. Bright and vivid color has been returned to the frame, with some pitting on the right side. The right side of the grip has a small chip on the toe, otherwise fine with only a few minor handling marks. Mechanically very good.
