Manufactured in 1922. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, the left side is marked "32 W.C.F." and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the uncircled Rampant Colt. Matching serial number is marked on the frame, back strap, front and back straps under the grip and scratched into the inside of each grip panel. Loading gate is marked with the assembly number "766" and the left upper front of the trigger guard bow is marked with the number "1" over the Colt triangle "VP" proof. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, casehardened hammer and frame, with blue on the remaining parts and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Fine. The barrel and cylinder retain 75% original blue finish with muzzle wear, some thinning and a few minor scratches and dings on the barrel. The cylinder shows some thinning to brown, scratches and high edge wear. The trigger guard and back strap show strong original blue in protected areas with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The outer surface of the ejector housing has a smooth brown patina with the protected areas showing almost all of the original blue finish. The frame retains 40% original case colors concentrated in the protected areas with a smooth mottled silver gray patina on the balance. The front sight has been cut down a bit and there are a few small dings along the top edge. The grips are also fine with a few minor dings and handling marks, and crisp checkering. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
