Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, with the assembly number "1548" on the loading gate. Blue with casehardened frame and hammer. Blade front (slightly altered), frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains 50% of the original blue finish mixed with smooth gray patina. There are some scattered scratches and minor dings. The frame and hammer retain 40% original case colors, brightest in the protected areas, with areas of smooth silver gray. The grips are also fine with a couple of minor dings and crisp checkering. The front sight has been cut down slightly and is slightly bent to the right. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
