Description:

Indian War era cavalry saber belting that consists of: (1) Modified Civil War Mann Cavalry Belt with 1872 "US" Belt Plate, (2) Spanish American War Lanz, Owen & Co. contract 5th type pattern 1881 holster for Colt and S.W .45 caliber single action revolvers and (3) "US" embossed Hagner No. 2 cartridge box for .45 caliber cartridges with modified closure strap.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The leather surface of the Mann Cavalry Belt has been with leather preservative and has moderate to heavy flaking. One saber strap is weak. The pattern 1881 holster is in good condition. The Hagner cartridge box has a replaced closure strap and modified finial.
