Good. Overall the rifle has a mottled brown patina with a mottled gray patina on the breechblock. There is some scattered minor pitting with some minor spotting (mostly on the action components). The stock is also good with some chipping and a few missing slivers along the ramrod channel, some minor dings, scratches, and pressure dents, and a large putty filled repair near the upper tang. Mechanically fine.
