Description:

Produced circa 1866 in Providence, Rhode Island. Blade and folding ladder sights, with "50" stamped atop the second barrel band and London "Crown/ V" stamps on top of the barrel and receiver. The left side of the receiver is marked with the 5 line patent/ address, with a "C" on the breechblock. Smooth straight grip stock with 2 barrel bands, a small "WC" cartouche on the left side of the wrist, sling swivels and a smooth buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 70% of the original blue finish, showing small patches of pitting and brown patina overall. 60% of the original vivid case colors on the receiver, hammer and lever mixed with extensive surface rust. The stock and forearm are both in very fine condition with light storage wear. Mechanically very good.
