Manufactured in 1906, the first year of production. Dovetail blade front sight and 1902 patented adjustable rear sight, with standard markings including "35 REM" hand engraved on the barrel jacket head. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with hard rubber factory buttplate.

Very good. The rifle retains 80% original blue finish with the balance between a smooth brown patina and smooth gray patina. There is some minor pitting along with limited minor spotting (mostly on the receiver). The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches.
