Description:

1) Navy blue felt kepi, with silk lining embossed with the retailer "Ridabock & Company of New York", on inside crown, and two U.S. eagle buttons on either side. The brim insignia is for the 8th Regiment Infantry, Troop C. 2) Navy blue felt enlisted man's cap, with leather sweat band, silk lining, and two U.S. eagle buttons on either side holding on adjustable hat band. The brim insignia is for the 8th Cavalry Regiment, Troop A.

Rating Definition:

1) Good. The exterior has some moth holes, the visor is cracking, and the leather hat band is missing. The silk lining is very good, with some fading of the makers stamp. The sweat band is coming loose in the back and is stained and discolored. 2) Good, with very little moth damage. Visor is good, with some tape damage on the underside. Lining is very good. Sweat band is good, with some cracking and discoloration.
