The upper tang has the three line Winchester trademark information and "US" over ordnance bomb marked behind the hammer. Very good as modified. The barrel retains 80% original blue finish and the remaining surfaces retain 60% blue finish with the overall balance a smooth brown patina. There is some very scattered minor spotting with a few minor dings on the barrel. The buttstock is fine with some minor dings and scratches, along with a filled repair on the shortened forearm and a few minor gouges near the stock toe.
