Manufactured in 1915, this is the carbine version of the Model 14 rifle. Blade front sight with bead and adjustable notch rear sight with the rear of the receiver at the top drilled and tapped for sight mounting. 12 groove forearm and smooth straight grip stock with Remington-UMC hard rubber buttplate.

Excellent. The carbine retains nearly 95% original blue finish thinning to a gray patina with some very scattered minor scratches and limited minor pitting. The wood is fine with most of the varnish remaining, some minor dings and scratches, and a hole (likely from a now removed sight) filled on top of the wrist.
