Manufactured in 1920 with a button magazine and half-octagon barrel. Marble Sheard blade front sight and Lyman receiver peep sight with the rear sight removed (Marble's filler block added). The upper left barrel flat is marked with the two line address/patent date, two line nickel steel marking, and "25-35 W.C.F." The factory proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver. The upper tang has the three line mode/trademark information and the frame underside has the serial number. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with forend cap and crescent buttplate.
Very good as partially refinished. The barrel retains 90% thinning original blue finish. The receiver, lever and forend cap retain 30% original blue finish with the balance an artificial smooth brown patina with some minor pitting (mostly on the right side of receiver). The buttplate has a smooth gray patina. The refinished wood is fine with a couple long cuts on the underside of the buttstock and some scattered minor handling marks.
