The chamber is dated 1939 and the Mauser code "42" on the toggle. Eagle/655 and eagle firing proofs are present on the right barrel extension and barrel. Matching full serial number on the frame (with "z" suffix), barrel extension, and barrel, with the partial serial number (58) on the takedown latch, side plate, sear, safety bar, thumb safety lever, extractor, toggle, and toggle link. Properly marked safety position and extractor. All blue finish with checkered grips, and non-matching blued aluminum magazine. Complete with a black leather holster, eagle/655 proofed takedown tool, and extra non-matching blued aluminum based magazine. A unique, seldom encountered leather pull strap is attached to the rear frame staple. The back of the holster is stamped "E.K.St. 1939" over and eagle/WaA101 proof.

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus original blue finish with the grip straps thinned to a gray and some minor thinning overall, along with some loss at the muzzle and some minor edge wear. There is a "fingernail" shaped dent on the right panel at the top, otherwise the grips are excellent with some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very fine with some minor handling marks and flex wear, with two small pin holes on the front of the flap where once was an insignia placed. The stitching is tight.
