Starting life as Polizeiabteilung z.b.V. Wecke, Goring's personal police unit and participant in the Night of the Long Knives, the Hermann Goring grew from a police unit to a motorized regiment, and later reformed as a Panzer unit following the loss of Panzer Army Africa. Black wool construction, with white trim around the blank shoulder boards, death's head skull tabs and the collar, an Iron Cross ribbon, Luftwaffe eagle on the right breast, and a blue cloth "HERMANN GORING" cuff title on the right cuff. With a matching pair of black trousers and an enlisted man's cap with cloth eagle and cockade patches.

Very fine with mild staining, concentrated on the interior.
