Description:

Tropical or Africa Corps coloration on the smooth helmet. Steel construction, with the distinctive stamped integral air vents and brown/yellow painted external finish. A silver shield decal with black border and "SS" runes is present on the right hand side, with no decal on the left. Interior is painted green, with brown leather liner (marked "58") and chin strap. "USTUF.SIEBER/ 1987 / 17-SS-DIV." is painted in white at the rear. "1987" is stamped into helmet, along with "FT 66" on the left side by the chin strap.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The camouflage paint is missing in places, with the SS decal heavily worn. Interior is fair, with scattered areas of spotting. Leather liner is good, with heavy discoloration/staining and minor wear. Chin strap is good, with moderate wear/scuffing.
